Sudden Wine Failure Combined with Inaccurate System Text Display

Basically I installed Homeworld2 in to wine and it worked flawlessly the first time. Later though It completely fails to boot Homeworld and a weird text error has occured. Here is a screenshot with the relevant terminal window showing the failure and the weird invisible text effect. Note that it is not limited to urxvt, but also affects xterm. The command is still there, just invisible. THanks for any help, as this seems a vary vague problem.
