Re: [request] lib32-hunspell

I am confused :-/
I looked at hunspell packages both in ABS and AUR -- hunspell isn't a library, nor is it compiled.  It seems that it is just data downloaded and installed for both architectures.

Can you elaborate on the problem and what you have tried?

Re: [request] lib32-hunspell

sure. I've installed an experimental secondlife viewer wich is available for 32bit and 64bit. the 64bit version lacks of features compared to the 32bit version.

First I installed the 64 bit version and everything runs fine (except the missing features)
Then I installed the 32 bit version and came up with this error:

pho@rechenwerk ~/builds/testing/imprudence % imprudence-secondlife
Running from /opt/imprudence-secondlife
Warning: Did not register secondlife:// handler with KDE: Directory /home/pho/.kde/share/services does not exist.
bin/do-not-directly-run-imprudence-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libhunspell-1.2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
*** Bad shutdown. ***

hunspell is installed

pp -Qo /usr/lib/libhunspell-1.2.so.0
/usr/lib/libhunspell-1.2.so ist in hunspell 1.2.12-1 enthalten

Re: [request] lib32-hunspell

I'm facing a similar issue while trying to build Imprudence standalone (that is, using system libraries and not the provided ones by Linden Lab) in 64 bits. It complains it can't find the same file pho says, although it is installed. I'll keep working at is and report back.

hunspell for i686 has been in [extra] for a long time.
