upgrade only a group

hi to all,

i have a question:

how can i upgrade only a group ?

for example, how can i upgrade only packages (installed in my system) contained by the gnome-extra group

but like every upgrade, all packages upgraded carry their dependencies .....

But if you only update part of your system, that may pull in a new version of a library and leave the rest of your system complaining that it needed the old one.

But feel free to do as you wish.  You can join the people whose system did not boot or pacman stopped working after the openssl update...
