mazrim dont change media player [solved]

as it shuld if yuo change it in mazrim.conf

and it also depend on vlc (another side of the same problem in my opinion).

i do'nt think it's the author fault but the one how packed it for arch.

for example its work fine in fedora.

i tried to change the player in the python program (i do'nt know python)

but with no succes and there is a duplication of files in the installation

so i'm not sure where to change.

i want to change the player and remove vlc, is it posible?

mazrim is in the AUR - please post your issues there for the maintainer to review.

In that case, you should consider adopting it yourself, and amending it as required.

Re: mazrim dont change media player [solved]

i changed the wrong mazrim.conf file so the player had'nt changed.

i removed the 'vlc' from the depends line in PKGBUILD and build the package again

(after i removed it) and i could remove vlc, but someone have to do this in AUR.

Re: mazrim dont change media player [solved]

Adopting it, as I suggested above, means that you become the maintainer of the mazrim AUR package, so you are the "someone" who should do this.

Full details in the wiki.
