True Combat : Elite + Punkbuster

I've tried to enable punkbuster but it doesn't work, I've looked up on other places and the problem is I have to update Punkbuster. I've downloaded the punkbuster update file but that doesn't work >.< anyone know how to fix this problem?

I know I've got it to work but it was a bit 'tricky'.

Afaik TC:E is based on ET:W and that is open source now, which means, that Punkbuster won't support anymore.

I don't know, if this is true, but I read this in a blog post from a dev of the successor of TC:E --> TC:CQB (True Combat: Close Quaters Battle).
