Paconky problems

Hi guys i have setup paconky using these scripts from the maker https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=68104 . But all it says is up to date all the time, it only shows that there are updates to be installed if i do Pacman -Syu then select no on the 'proceed with installation'. Is there a way i can fix this? (I want it to show updates without me having to do anything.)
