I know I can open up a terminal in Gnome and extract a tarball with a simple command but today I just felt like 'right-clicking' the tarball itself in Gnome and noticed I did not have the option to 'extract to' option which I did have in Ubuntu / Debian. Can someone please tell me what package I am missing so that I can extract a tarball using the GUI / Gnome and right clicking the file?
Thanks!

File-roller?
That doesn't appear to be it. I normally would have a right click menu option that said "extract to here".

I believe installing file-roller would integrate it with nautilus, i.e. provide the functionality you want. Run "nautilus -q" if it doesn't work after installing file-roller.
