Question about Mysql-gui-tools

Hi everyone,

It seems that mysql-gui-tools (wich provide mysql query browser and mysql administrator) has been removed from repo (and isn't available from aur).
I'm not very interested in those packages, i'm just wondering if they have been totaly removed, if the name changed and even if mysql-workbench is a evolution/packages that provide the same possibilities.

Regards,

RS

Re: Question about Mysql-gui-tools

from the log i see this:

r25911 | angvp | 2010-09-11 16:34:07 +0300 (Sat, 11 Sep 2010) | 1 line

Removing mysql-gui-tools from [community] to AUR since Oracle decided to don't give more support to it, in favour of mysql-workbench which is in [community]

if you want i can get the sources and really stick it into aur

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

Re: Question about Mysql-gui-tools

I have the package in my cache, it's not about using it, just wondering why the packages isn't available anymore.
Thx for your proposal wonder.
