Hi, I got a question is there any way to fully hide a partition in unused space? Something similar to the stegfs, wich hides files in an ext2 partition.

hmmm, I doubt it unless the partition is never set in the partition table of the hard drive... in which case the disk can overwrite it considering it sees it as unused space

Juts leave some space on your hd, which isn't part of any partition. Then use that directly to put a filesystem image there. Just use the loop mount option with the offset option.

Hot damn. I never thought about doing that. What can't the "loop" device do?

I think the loop device can't handle recursive and/or circular loop device mounting.
