[SOLVED] Western Digital USB Hdd and suspend mode

Hi all

I have a 1.5 TB HDD USB from Western Digital ( WDBAAU0015HBK )
I'm using the last kernel available (today)

It seems It won't autosuspend after 15 minutes, but the worst thing is that it doesn't autosuspend after an umount too ( no udev automount rules )

I've already tried
sg_start --stop /dev/foo
sdparm --command=sync /dev/foo && sdparm --command=stop /dev/foo
hdparm -f /dev/foo && hdparm -Y /dev/foo

But nothing happened

And even this http://github.com/liyan/suspend-usb-dev … usb-device didn't work

I can't write on /sys/ even with sudo (code line 180)

Any idea?

Thank you in advance

Re: [SOLVED] Western Digital USB Hdd and suspend mode

Solved. It was monitorix... the strange thing is that monitorix does not even check for my hdd!
And a friend of mine did a test with a seagate. Result: his seagate went in suspend mode even with monitorix, mine western digital no tongue
