[SOLVED]Burning issue

I have search on forum but I didn't find anything related to this. I still have been looking on Arch wiki. I apologize if I miss it.
The fact is that for mount stuff I use udev rules. (thanks arch wiki!).
But regarded to burning of cd/dvd when I try to burn something it says that the dvd or cd is not present.
Well the udev rule I'm using is this one http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Udev#Mount_CDs
I though this rule was enough and worked as well with blank cd or dvd's regarded to burning. Well I was wrong, it didn't
One thing I did was uncomment the lines in /etc/fstab regarded to dvd's and cd's. And works pretty fine.
But I was wonder if this was the right approach to do or am I missing something?

Re: [SOLVED]Burning issue

I have no idea what might trouble you, but AFAIK blank CDs which are to be burnt are not mounted. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. So, by my reasoning, mounting has nothing to do with your problem.

Re: [SOLVED]Burning issue

You mount neither blank CDs / DVDs nor Audio CDs.

Just insert the CD into the drive and run the app you use to burn. If you have problems, please tell us what app are you using.

Oh I didn't knew that wasn't suppose to mount any blank CDs or DVDs. Well the things we learn when we are new in linux.
Well I'm using graveman from the repository's and when I tried to burn a simple audio track it simply says "Please insert an empty or apendable cd in drive..." and it says "empy media". So I think I'm missing something probably...

Re: [SOLVED]Burning issue

There's a similar thread https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=689070
Try the proposed solution and see if it works for you.

Damn how I missed that thread? :s
The solution worked great. I only changed the location of the device to /dev/scd0 and works pretty fine. I feel really dumb right now...
Thanks Karol.
