[SOLVED] Accidentally deleted /etc/pam.d! Help!

I really stupidly deleted the whole /etc/pam.d folder when removing an old install of pam-face-authentication, and now I can't log into the system in any way! am currently trying to restore the lost files from an ubuntu liveCD, but to no avail!

please help - is there any way of replacing the deleted files with new ones?

thanks

Re: [SOLVED] Accidentally deleted /etc/pam.d! Help!

chroot into Arch and reinstall the packages which have files installed in /etc/pam.d:

pacman -S $(pacman -Ql | grep /etc/pam.d/$ | awk '{print $1}')

thanks for your help

as it happens, this won't be necessary! one of the recovery apps that i was using worked, recovering all of the lost files! I was amazed...
thanks for all your help, though!
