Well, I apologize if this is a known problem or just my ignorance. Before a month or so ago, ncmpcpp/mpc/all other mpd players wouldn't remove a song from the playlist when I skip or if the song finishes. Now, however, this problem has been occuring and is really starting to bug me. This only seems to happen if I skip forward in the playlist.
I have tried recompiling mpd, mpc, ncmpcpp, and libmpdclient, as well as downgrading them. I find this very strange as it began to happen out of nowhere.
Any suggestions?
Note: I find it strange that it is happening on all of the clients I have tried. Could this be an mpd issue?
SOLVED because I apparently can't read documentation correctly.

Hum, have you tried pressing "R" in ncmpcpp to toggle mpd's "consume" mode?

Thank you!
Was it really that easy? Please excuse this thread from the interwebz.
