[solved] gmpc problem

when I ran gmpc as a standard user, it throws;

Gmpc-ERROR **: Failed to create: /root/.config/gmpc

It's clearly not looking in my ~/.config directory. I'm on x64 atm and this hasn't been a problem before on 686 installs. I've tried copying a .config/gmpc folder from another computer to my home, removing it with -Rn. Nothing

Anyone know what the prob is?

oddly, this fixed itself when I switched from alsa to oss.
