broadcom-wl build error

Hello together,
I recently installed arch on my Dell Vostro 13, and tried to setup wlan. I found out the my chipset needs the broadcom-wl driver (which i already used sucessful under ubuntu). I tried to install the AUR package (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=19514).

By building I got following error:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
patching file src/include/linuxver.h
patching file src/wl/sys/wl_iw.h
patching file src/wl/sys/wl_linux.c
make: *** /lib/modules/2.6.35-ARCH/build: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden.  Schluss.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden.  Schluss." -> file or directory not found. aborting

I thought it could be a problem with make, so I reinstalled base-devel. It didn't solved the problem.

Greetings,

Vinschni

Re: broadcom-wl build error

I'm running another arch installation on my desktop-pc. On this one I managed it to build broadcom-wl sucessfully. The problem now is that the laptop-arch is x86_64 and my desktop i686.

I have in mind that with a commandflag I can set the wanted architekture to compile for, but I don't know which flag where to set.

Re: broadcom-wl build error

Did you update the kernel without rebooting? Or have an old kernel, but new kernel26-headers installed? (or the other way around)
