[SOLVED] Continuously Reboot

Hi,

I wanted to run fsck manually on boot process and write shell

shutdown -Fr now

but fsck was failed because of "1.2% non-contiguous" error and tried to reboot again and next time it runs again fsck and again and again reboot.

In fact Arch Linux periodically runs fsck on boot after 30 or maybe 33 successful boot process and i get the same error above but after reboot everything goes ok. How can i fix this problem?

Re: [SOLVED] Continuously Reboot

I found solution. you need create an empty file called "forcecheck" in root directory " / " to force the system to run fsck on the next reboot. This is doing what "shutdown -Fr now" does so i just deleted it using Ubuntu live CD.
