Hello
You can install lxappearance to set the icons (as well as themes):
sudo pacman -S lxappearance
Then copy icons that you downloaded to
/usr/share/icons/
Setup it in lxappearance and here you go.

kernelpanic - how about ~/.icons ?
xaero - install at least gnome-icon-theme or tango-icon-theme
