Firefox is so slow ...

Firefox on Arch64 is slower than WinXp ..
Sometime it is hard to move to tabs,  mouse and to type keybord...
I just wonder ..anyone who use arch64 or arch686 both experienc same thing ..or
just Arch64...
I have doubt flash....( I got flash plugin from adobe site)

No problem with firefox in i686, have some plugins including flash plugins.
Why not use flash plugin from Arch repo instead from adobe ? and check wiki for some further tips

Firefox is plenty fast here using 64-bit, but I don't run flash.

I have same problem, but only appear when i'm open https, switch between tab is taking some couple second, but working fine with http. And the other problem is, sometimes firefox not quit very well, stay on memory and consume CPU 100%, until i kill it manualy.

Maybe graphic card driver issue? via chrome9 with openchrome lol
Btw im on Arch 64

hmm...I think my linux is not as smooth as windowsXP..
But firefox is severe especially...
So I use google chrome instead, it works well even flash
