I like the idea, I've been compiling a Git for some time now and this would make things much easier.
some questions..
Is the stable release still going to feature?
if so, shouldn't this be named amule-svn?
How often is it going to be updated?
cheers ![]()

These are questions for the amule devs - I suggest you contact them.

Why? Nothing has changed on the aMule side.
I think he was referring to the management of the Arch linux package, which has gone from stable version 2.2.6 to svn revision 10305.

Apologies for the misunderstanding, gav616, and thanks for setting me straight, palmaway. ![]()
I see no mention of this change on arch-dev-public, but the justification seems clear: there haven't been any "proper" releases since 2.2.6 over a year ago. I guess it's an mplayer-like scenario.
Anyway, I suggest you contact the dev directly for details - it's likely he won't see this thread.

Hi gav616,
I switched to svn because the 2.2.6 version was very old.
1) How often is it going to be updated? See here
2) Shouldn't this be named amule-svn? Nope, I think that is not necessary (see mplayer in extra, it is a svn too).

So the package in the extra repo is going to be updated after every new update in the SVN?
