Screen black, Backlight working, external monitor working
Hi all,
I have trouble with my Lenovo T400.
On Startup, it doesn't display anything at all (not even Text before starting X). Setting Brightness Levels work fine, however.
When attached to an external monitor, everything seems to be fine.
Even if it doesn't seem to be connected with software, I reverted all packages that I installed that day to the previous versions, to no avail.
Does anyone have an idea what the problem might be?

Can you see grub?

That sounds like a hardware problem. Do you even see the BIOS? If you don't, there is probably something wrong with the cable that connects your screen to your graphics card.
