[solved]skype - No protocol specified

I installed skype and under my own user it all works fine. However I tried to set it up with another user as shown in the wiki. When I launch skype with the new user I created for skype I get the following error.

No protocol specified

Not a big deal but I hope someone can help me fix it.

Are the new users members of the video and audio groups?

Yes, I add the new user to those groups.

Maybe I should just run skype with my own user, if I trust skype that is?
