Trouble with hard drive

Hi,

sometimes I get this error (actually it happened two or three times in the last weeks, maybe it's related to 2.6.35.x) on a Thinkpad T500 with http://www.notebooksbilliger.de/western … wd5000bekt

Looks to me like a hardware fault with your hard drive. Burn a copy of the Ultimate Boot CD (ultimatebootcd.com), boot that CDROM and use the Western Digital hard drive diagnostic software on it to test your hard drive.
