Hi. I'm having a weird issue, I don't know when it started. I suppose after some update, because I haven't done any significant changes to the system.
When I boot Arch, X starts (see .xinitrc below), everything is fine except that the mouse's left button doesn't work. After ctrl+alt+backspace (exiting X I seem to remember) and doing " $ startx " manually, everything works fine.
It's an error easily fixed, but an annoyance nevertheless.
Here's my .xinitrc:
xsel -o | xsel -b &
xset dpms 900 900 900 r rate 230 30 &
xbindkeys &
numlockx &
autocutsel -fork &
autocutsel -selection PRIMARY -fork &
urxvtd -q -f -o &
exec ck-launch-session startfluxbox
My system is fully up-to-date (just pacman -Syu'd). Let me know if you need any more info about the system.
Thank you for your help,
Bruno

I had a problem like this once, but my issue was that the mouse would simply freeze. I think it ended up resolving itself after some time.
If you have a usb mouse try unplugging it and plugging it back in, it may prevent you from having to restart x. A little more pleasant than restarting X.

I have a wireless mouse, so restarting X is simpler actually...

Ahh, my problem was that my mouse would freeze sometimes when I started X (so a restart was no biggy), but sometimes it would happen 5-10 minutes into my X session so I had stuff open that I didn't want to close.

Help-- this is still unsolved. System is fully up-to-date.
