[SOLVED]-[KDE4.5.2] - black wallpaper after image selection

Hello,

I have a problem with the "Desktop Settings - Plasma workspace" window : when selecting a wallpaper from my local image collection the wallpaper turns to black. after that, even with the predefined wallpapers from KDE, this behaviour occurs....

if I change my wallpaper, the file remain the same and I have a black wallpaper (my default background color...).

any idea how to solve the problem ?

[Edit] It was my /var partition which was full....and it was trying to write to /var/tmp/kdecache some information. I had problems with amarok crashing for the same reason and finally my kde session went all white (plasma crash)....a "pacman -Sc" saved me 4 Gb of space :-)
