What's the latest "stable" version of Gedit? The one in the repos?

I was just wondering because there are some cool features that I really really want from a new Gedit that have already been added in the gnome GIT repo. If ther current version "stable" is 2.30.4 then i'll wait, but if not, then can you (Jan De Groot) please update Gedit in the repos? smile

Just 'mark out of date' the package. Or email him directly. The forums are generally the WORST way to try and contact any specific developer.

Oh, and before that, please do a quick google....
