I installed a login theme and i think the file is corrupted, now when my system tries to boot to the login screen i get an error message saying login cant be found,
is there any way i can set my default theme from the command line or am i going to have to uninstall kde or is there a way to bypass the login altogether
Solution:
Go to: /usr/share/config/kdm/ in this directory there's a file kdmrc open it with nano kdmrc
search this file until u find Theme=/usr/share/apps/kdm/themes/arch and change arch (it might be called something different for you) to any other theme for example Theme=/usr/share/apps/kdm/themes/oxygen and u will be back in business.
your themes should be in /usr/share/apps/kdm/themes just incase you don't know the names of your themes
