[solved]Compiz 0.9.2?

Hi there,

Apologies if this is unwelcome in this forum.

I'm just enquiring, compiz in the standard repos is only 0.8.6, yet the newest is 0.9.2!  Just wondering why we're being held back on this front.  Nothing in testing either.

is simple, 0.8.x is stable, 0.9.x is unstable, it was rewrote from scratch. do you want such an unfinished work to be pulled in repos?

Trust me, I love compiz and am running 0.9.2 IT'S DEFINITELY UNSTABLE. Still pretty cool though, but probably stick with 0.8.4 for now.
