[SOLVED] "Login incorrect" for root on ArchOne

I am trying to install ArchOne on my Aspire One ... everything works as advertised until I get to the login prompt.  At which point no login succeeds;  "root" + blank password, "root" + random password ...

How might I get around this?

If you've already installed ArchOne ,check there: How to recover root's password: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Password_Recovery

If you are testing ArchOne live, the user password is archone; for the root password, you should ask marinz send him a mail because it's not anywhere on the site.

Edit: Also your login prompt layout may have stayed to Italian language, as marinz is Italian!

Thanks ... the link was helpful, but didn't solve the problem.  However, I did manage to guess the password: 'archone'.
