Chromium theme

I did an attempt to make a Chromium theme that fit's the Arch Linux website.

For now the theme can be found here:
http://www.chromethemes.org/operating-s … ium-theme/ ( will update most frequently )
http://www.chrometheme.net/node/896

When something doesn't work/could be done better let me know and I'll try to fix it.

Re: Chromium theme

The icons near the address bar are too dark imo, we can only see the white border which I don't like. Nevertheless, he blue at the top is nice.

Re: Chromium theme

Thanks smile

Yes I was aware of that, it's partially fixed but not uploaded yet. The colour of those buttons is controlled by a tint value which works with hue, saturation and lightness values instead of RGB. It's not easy to reproduce the same shade of blue as the frame. Maybe a grey shade would be good for the buttons ( would be a lot easier )?

EDIT:

The theme is published on the other website: http://www.chromethemes.org/operating-s … ium-theme/
The buttons of that version are better visible, the colour is not yet perfect though.

Re: Chromium theme

Yep, the new icons are much better. I think it would be better in grey than in blue (if that's what you intended to do) because it would make the theme much clearer, instead of overloading with blue everywhere it's not grey.

Thanks Alm, I'm glad you like it smile

Joch, I uploaded a version with grey buttons. It's indeed a bit cleaner.

I think that's related to your DE/WM, don't know how to change it.

Re: Chromium theme

The theme is great - however it looses its nice blue colour on the upper part of the window (becomes grey) with the latest update to chromium -dev v 12.0.725.0

Thanks. I'm using the stable version so I didn't notice. I'll check it out one of these days, I need to fix some details anyway.

Re: Chromium theme

Made a small update. There is a decent incognito window now but I still have some issues with the frame colours.
Did not have the time to check the dev version of chromium, stable works fine.

Colours still incorrect in the latest dev version.
