vanilla vs. ck vs. lqx on a notebook

Hi guys, I'm an 'archlinux newbie' 5 years linux user.
After googling I want to ask you, experts, what are the differences between the different versions of kernel available in AUR.
I'm looking for a kernel for my 64bit notebook Sony Vaio F12Z with Core i7 running kde.
I need the .36 kernel for hardware compability.
What are the differences between vanilla (I know what it is), Con Kolivas version, pf and the Liquirix one? What versions you suggest for me?

I love archlinux: the last STABLE kernel release + the last STABLE DE release + the last STABLE apps releases. The upstream developers decide what is STABLE.
