oI wanted to try and run Veromix so I could adjust my pulseaudio more on the fly.
But the kde-look page indicated that I needed:
- plasma-scriptengine-python
- python-xdg
- Pulseaudio
first one is part of kdeworkspace from what I googled.
python-xdg is actually = pyxdg on arch repo
and pulseaudio is most definitely installed.
So when I try to launch the widget in the tray I get the big sound icon but nothings present in the box. Also it states:
There is a problem with the background-service.
If you just upgraded try killing the process VeromixServiceMain.py
If you dont know how to do that try restarting.
Anyone have any luck getting it to work on Arch??
Or is there something I might be missing???
thanks.
update: turned out it was a plasmoid 2 issue so fixed it to point to the right place.

yeah my fault lol........ was typing it after the fact and quickly in case someone else had the same problem since I couldnt find any reference anywhere else on the net.
solution would be:
http://code.google.com/p/veromix-plasmo … tail?id=12
had to just edit the python path. Simple business. After all of the stuff about the python3 transition it should have dawned on me.
