[SOLVED]Skipping initramd

How do I know if the boot process skips initramd? I have installed the HDD controller driver and root fs into the kernel.

I have read that this is the way to make the boot process skip initramd/initramfs.

If you remove initrd line from the grub config and it boots it initramfs less .
