Hi,
when I open KRunner (Alt+F2), search for a song from my amarok collection and add that song to my playlist, the process 'virtuoso-t' takes up to 100% of my CPU (and never stops). There is no disk activity. Can you confirm this? If so, i will file a bug to kde.org, but perhaps only my configuration is screwed.
Greetings, drm
Edit: I'm using KDE 4.5.3, everything else is up to date too

Maybe your nepomuk database is corrupt ?
Some ideas:
- backup then remove the database iirc it should be in ~/.kde4/share/apps/nepomuk, and retest
- create a new user with access to your music, copy the amarok database and retest
Ah, good taste! What a dreadful thing! Taste is the enemy of creativeness.
