middle click emulation not working.

Hi,
middle click emulation got turned off in a recent update and I don't seem to be able to turn it back on.
I put this:

Section "InputClass"
    Identifier "middle button emulation class"
    MatchIsPointer "on"
    Option "Emulate3Buttons" "on"
EndSection

in my xorg.conf.

Now middle click emu works on my usb mouse (that already has a middle button) but not on the touchpad buttons. The touchpad emu used to work.

I am not using synaptics. I hope I don't have to use it as I have had nothing but trouble from it in the past.

Re: middle click emulation not working.

I have been experiencing something similar recently, except that Xorg.0.log or dmesg don't show anything - and it works on and off, every few boots it will get disabled again. Don't have a clue hmm
