X won't start (solved, had run out of space from pacman cache)

Here's the log:

http://pastebin.ca/1992656

This is happening after I did an update. I had removed the eee repository from pacman.conf beforehand, but I don't believe I was using that... I know that I wasn't using the kernel.

EDIT: I had simply run out of space on my root partition. Oops! Found an openoffice-base I wasn't using though, that gave me some room.

EDIT-2: Found that I needed to clear my pacman cache, which was taking up a ton of space.

Re: X won't start (solved, had run out of space from pacman cache)

[  6501.600] (EE) Error compiling keymap (server-0)
[  6501.600] (EE) XKB: Couldn't compile keymap

Seems like that is the issue.
Try to chmod 777 /tmp, it almost always does the trick for this error smile

Cheers

Nope, seems that wasn't it. Same thing still happened. sad

It will start if I'm root, though. Just doesn't use a desktop environment, of course. I forgot how ugly X alone is...
