[SOLVED] Cannot run X as user: segmentation fault at libc.so

This is the 3rd times I try to get my system works. All with a new installation and with fully system upgrade (-Syu).

All the things has been setup as like in "Beginner's Guide" wiki. But, a normal user cannot "startx". User xinitrc is simple: exec xterm. When I see at /var/log/everything.log, xterm got segfault.

If I set xinitrc to: "exec twm", twm got segfault.

Most of the segfault is at libc.so.

Everything is normal when running as root.

Help?

Is your user a member of the video group?

Re: [SOLVED] Cannot run X as user: segmentation fault at libc.so

[SOLVED]

The problem is I use some custom cursor in my .icons folder. After removing .icons folder, log out and log in back, X can start normal.

It's a little weird, because before all this problem occur it works normal with the same custom cursor. Probably, some update bork it out.
