pacman's groups (pacman -Sg) do not work on live

Hello, i'm trying to make a new distro using ArchLinux and i need to install new packages.
I dont know why there is no output for the command "pacman -Sg" (on your original live distro, exacly the archlinux-2010.05-core-dual)

I should see "base" and "base-devel", right?
Why do not show output?

I need this because i want to add new packages that have different group, just to allow user to install it or not.
For example i've created apache pkg, adding on PKGBUILD
groups=('myname')

So, i've re-created the core-pkgs.sqfs and re-created the ISO.
When i start the live i can see my package on /src/core/pkg/, but i can't see it on the installer.

Any ideas?

Re: pacman's groups (pacman -Sg) do not work on live

i think it doesn't work because there are no sync files on the livecd

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

And also "pacman -Ql wireless-tools" do not show output.
I can only see "base" pkgs.

How can i add other packages also in "none" groups?
