I love linux as you all do, but getting the most basic stuff working sometimes is a major hassle, Especially if the devs themselfs doesn't care about performance modules/drivers for unix.

Well I was about to get my samsung ml1630 working with cups and of course it didn't work at all. That was until I installed the cups-usblp package from AUR.

You COULD look at the revision history and email those users directly smile. Its kinda unlikely that they'd notice a random forum topic.
