ACPI AC vs ACAD status

I was trying to get custom scripts to run when ACPI detect my power plug come out of the laptop. I was in /etc/acpi/handlers.sh and noticed that one of the cases under "ac_adapter" is "AC" (line 30) . However, when I look in /proc/acpi/ac_adapter I only see "ACAD". I changed AC to ACAD in the script it worked fine. I checked the arguments to the script on multiple plug/unplugs, and never saw just "AC" as the argument, just "ACAD".

My understanding of ACPI is somewhat limited. Is this file provided by Arch? Is this worthy of an Arch bug report?
