Reset Generation (and possibly other java apps' audio slow)

I'm not sure whether this is the right place for this question. Anyhow, I was trying to play Nokia's Reset Generation. The game loads and runs properly except for the audio. Due to the slowness of the audio "track", the stuff became unsynced. Any idea what's wrong with jre? Or any problem with something else?

Stuff I use:
-JRE (openjdk doesnt work in RG)
-ALSA (+all the plugins)
-XFCE
-Firefox
-Celeron M @2.13GHz + other decent stuff (this is a laptop)
-32-bit

By the way, is there a settings thingy for jre? I'm still in the process of looking for it, so I'm asking in advance.
