problem with cd rom and kde device notifier under kde
I just upgraded to 2.6.36 from core and the cd rom in my lenovo is not functional.
I use kde and mount my cds using device notifier. After the above upgrade, no cds are on the list of the device notifier.
Anyone else with the same problem?

I tried mountin manually my cd rom and everything works fine.
It seems that new kernel has a conflict with kde's device notifier backend.

It finally was a hal issue.
I solved this by deleting /etc/hal/fdi/information/media-check-disable-storage_model_DVD_RAM_UJ_860.fdi file.
The fact that's weird is that i did not have that issue until the installation of latest kernel.
