Hi!
This is my second Arch linux with KDE and this time I ran into some strange font problems.
1. The anti aliasing settings in KDE seems to make no difference. I also tried to configure aliasing and hinting (not autohinting) /etc/fonts/config.d
2. The font size in konsole is miscalculated - the expected space is greater than and the actual space making the cursor be way of right to the place input is added. It looks like I have a lot of spaces right of the command.
I use the proprietary Nvidia driver for graphics.
Help anyone?
Best Regards,
Erik

Well, yesterday I tried most all fonts available in the konsole profile, now I found that "Monospace" do not work while Fixed[Misc] does. This solves the problem evne though I gues that ther might be a bug in Konsole, probably upstream.

Strange.
I removed the /etc/X11/xorg.conf, and created a new empty user and things seems smooth and nice. Wounder what the problem lay in, but it seems that anti aliasing is working just fine, so does the monospace font - it is the default in konsole.
