Show Desktop Icon in Gnome Panel gets randomly lost..

Hi,

I got two little problems with arch:

1)
The "Show Desktop Icon" in the gnome panel (i got two of it, one in the left and in the right edge of the lower gnome panel).
These get randomly lost after I boot Arch .. sometimes they are there .. sometimes not. If they are not there .. they are just not drawn .. because you can not put anything at this place in the panel.. so they are still there.

Anybody knows how to fix this?

I use Compiz + the actual Gnome in Arch x64. (Graphic is nvidia)

2) My second Problem is that Chromium shows a flickering whiteline between the theme and the "windowbar" when you minimize/maximize it.  Does anyone know how to stop this?

These are only small problems ..

The First Bug also occour on my laptop - so it is not nvidia related (config is basically the same on it.), the second not.

I have the same "show desktop icon"  problem --- I had this issue in fedora as well, was hoping it'd disappear in arch. did you ever fix it?
