quickcam module not found

I cant seem to get my webcam (a Logitech QuickCam) to work, at boot i get a message that the quickcam module cant be found (or something simulair). Also /dev/video0 does not appear to exist.

I have followed the instructions in this wiki:
http://wiki2.archlinux.org/index.php/qc-usb
and installd qc-usb26.

added quickcam as a module in /etc/rc.conf

#
# Module to load at boot-up (in this order)
#   (prefix a module with a ! to disable it)
#
MODULES=(!usbserial !ide-scsi 8139too snd-pcm-oss snd-intel8x0 quickcam)

Does anyone know why the module cant be loaded and why /dev/video0 isnt there?

Whenever you are asked if you can do a job, tell 'em, 'Certainly I can!' Then get busy and find out how to do it.

Re: quickcam module not found

Hmm, I have a Logitech Quickcam 4000 Pro and I use the 'pwc' module which is only found in the ac patchset (kernel.org).

And actually, as of the latest round of patches it doesn't even need to be a module anymore.
