Samba "create mask" doesn't work...

umask on my PC is 007.

cat /etc/samba/smb.conf:
...
[global]
create mask = 666
directory mask = 777
...

Copied some files and dirs from another PC with Arch and now the files in samba dir have

drwxrwx---
-rw-r-----

But they should be drwxrwxrwx and rw-rw-rw-. Why doesn't mask work?
