Gamepad not working in XBMC

Hi,

I am trying to get XBMC up and running on my Arch box, and I would like to use a gamepad I had lying around to control it. The gamepad is a Thrustmaster FireStorm Dual Power 2, and it is recognized by XBMC in the log file.

Enabled Joystick: THRUSTMASTER FireStorm Dual Power 2

I also ran jscal and jstest to confirm the input of the joystick. According to jstest everything is fine. Now normally the buttons I press when XBMC is opened, should be registered in the XBMC log file, but when I check, there is nothing there.

Not to bring this thread back from the dead, but I'm also having this exact same issue on my gamepad.

I'm currently using qjoypad as a workaround, but it would nice to see native gamepad support
