USB 3G Dongle recognized as modem? [Solved]

Usually my 3G dongle is recognized as a storage unit in Linux. But in Arch it seems to be correctly recognized as a modem.
Does Arch have something like usb_modeswitch that starts automatically?

If you have usb_modeswitch installed, it might be triggering a rule in /lib/udev/rules.d/usb_modeswitch.rules?

Re: USB 3G Dongle recognized as modem? [Solved]

I use Oliver V-ME101 (Tata Photon+ USB Modem) and its detected as storage device on my arch install.
Everytime, I insert the dongle, I have to type
$sudo eject
to switch it to modem mode.
So, for me, its detected as storage unit.

Tried to uninstal usb_modeswitch and arch thought the dongle was a storage unit. With other distributions I had to "switch" it manually.
