Is anybody else experiencing a bizarre rendering lag in yakuake?
Typing in it feels like typing over SSH on a really slow / lossy connection.
Fire up a file in nano .... it literally won't refresh the screen until I move the cursor or do something.
Running latest everything. Tried yakuake-qt4-svn in AUR ... same problem.

Yes, me too. I'm not sure, but I think it started with the latest xorg/x-video-intel update...?

Yes I get this too. I am using xf86-video-ati, so I believe the problem isn't video driver related. I'm not sure which libraries Yakuake relys on to render text, perhaps there is a problem with that library, or it's interaction with Yakuake.
I did notice if there is a delay over ssh, and I press an arrow key, it quickly snaps back into place. Hardly a fix though.
I wish I could add more, but I've uninstalled the package, and am relying on normal konsole now a days.

Try guake maybe, I don't have problem with it.

Well, that's gnome based....
I'll use konsole until this is fixed.
