Graphic problems in The Witcher

Ok, The Witcher runs beautifully on wine, except that sometimes I get weird graphic errors, usually these puppeteer's lines: http://imgur.com/qS5yb.
This bug only crops up after I've had my PC turned on for a while (1-2 days) and thus the problem is always gone when I logout and login again. (just restarting X doesn't work). Now I don't want to relogin every time I wanna play the witcher, so there has to be something that is done by relogging that fixes the bug, which I should be able to do manually without actually relogging. Does anyone have a clue?

Btw: Arch64, wine 1.3.8 and a Geforce 8600GTS running the 260.19.21-2 drivers. GPU temperature are at a persistent ~48-52°C, that shouldn't be it. (I did try to ask #winehq and the appdb but silence all around. Also, I figure this has more to do with system/os internals and graphics than with wine itself)

(Btw, is the problem with health bar still present?)

(yes, the health and the toxicits bar are not visible, which I find is a tiny flaw. I mean, you can just hover over the bar with your mouse and see how much health you got. Also those bars missing eliminates me trying to fight perfectly and thus makes it more fun )

How did you get this installed? I'm trying to install it now, and it seems like it's crashing before the install finishes.
Trying to run launcher.exe gives me an unexpected error and shuts down.
Running from inside the System folder tells me I need to run it as admin D:

edit: arch64, wine 1.3.11, nvidia gtx 260 with 260.19.29
