I'm using an EeePC1000, dieghen89's netbook-kernel, and KDE.
Toggling my Logitech Bluetooth Laser Travel Mouse with eee-control works for the session if I startup with bluetooth enabled in bios.
If bluetooth is OFF when I shut the computer down, I can't not access bluetooth in the next session even though toggling indicates it's either enabled or disabled.
If I re-start ensuring that bluetooth is toggled ON in bios, it will work.
Checking the EeePC901 wiki indicates that;
# enable
echo 1 > /sys/devices/platform/eeepc/bt
# disable
echo 0 > /sys/devices/platform/eeepc/bt
should turn it on and off.
Trying echo 1 returns "bash: /sys/devices/platform/eeepc/bt: No such file or directory"
I do not have bt in that folder, nor can I add it. /sys/ seems to be a special folder that even root can not write to directly.
# enable
echo 1 > /sys/devices/platform/eeepc/camera
and
# enabled
echo 1 > /sys/devices/platform/eeepc/cardr
are present and work as indicated.
I'd appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction to correct this. I have searched the forums and so far am coming up empty-handed.
Thanks.

bump?
Anyone?

Did you try the usual.... grub line "acpi_osi=Linux" and the kernel module "eeepc-laptop"?
Too sad I don't know what a netbook kernel is ;-)

Thank you for the suggestions Awebb. "acpi-osi="Linux" unfortunately make no difference.
Not sure what I'm looking for with eeepc-laptop. Dont' think it is necessary with the netbook kernel I'm using.
I'm reasonably sure that the bluetooth toggle was working a few weeks ago? I may end up doing a re-install but was hoping to use this as a learning experience.

I think eee-control is the issue. I recommend using laptop-mode and eeepc-laptop module. See the wiki for more info.

Thank you. I'll give it a go.
